Financial Reports & Budgets
The City of Elkhart strives to serve its taxpayers in a fiscally responsible manner by setting and monitoring budgetary goals while investing City funds in projects that will ensure quality of life for our residents for years to come. Administration constantly searches for ways to improve past processes while increasing cost-efficiency, all while complying with city, state and federal rules and regulations.
Each fiscal year, the City is audited, and an annual budget is evaluated and voted upon. Administration presents to the Council what is required to run the City on a day-to-day basis, and also presents future goals for growth of the City. Issues such as infrastructure, law enforcement, code enforcement and community involvement are discussed, and a plan is put into motion to serve you, the taxpayer.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have questions regarding the City's finances. We are more than happy to sit down and answer any questions or concerns you may have.
